Important Notice: Please note that Bunny Barn is largely closed over winter. However, we are open over Christmas/New Year and during February half-term. We reopen full-time from mid-March onwards.
We have recently been informed that a particularly virulent strain of the rabbit disease VHD2 has come across from the continent. Vets are unsure how common it is but it is in the area. Some vets are offering a separate vaccine in addition to the triple booster. We aren't making this additional vaccine mandatory to book with us but are making our customers aware of it, especially if they have outdoor bunnies.

Bunny Barn Bed & Boarding is a family-run pet hotel that looks after rabbits, guinea pigs and more! Open since 2012, I have since studied for an Animal Management Diploma and also work in animal rescue as well as running Bunny Barn.
THE BARNs
The first Barn is home to our permanent resident Meena the bunny but she will never come into direct contact with your pet. The second Barn has six hutches with runs attached so they can run in and out all day.
The Bunny Barns are fully insulated and have electricity. They also have stable doors and windows for good ventilation as well as air-con when needed, so it stays at a comfortable temperature all year round. When it gets cold, we turn on the heaters to make sure the Barns stay nice and warm. As they will not be able to relax in a run without shivering, guests in the first Bunny Barn will instead be released individually into the barn so they can still have exercise. During hot weather they will spend their time in a run with cool shade provided.
